Wolfberry

Wolfberries contain many nutrients, including:
Lycium pigment, Wolfberry polysaccharides, zeaxanthin, lutein, β¡Ðcarotene, carotenoid, riboflavin, betaine, taurine, monounsaturated Fat, 18 amino acids, 19 essential trace elements (flouride, manganese, chromium, magnesium, zinc, copper, selenium, molybdenum, nickel, calcium, phosphorous, lithium, sodium, germanium, cobalt, iron, silicon, vanadium, and potassium). Of these, wolfberries contain higher quantities of carotenoid, zeaxanthin, and β¡Ðcarotene than any other plant, and 28 and 3 times more germanium than corn and Korean ginseng, respectively. The benefits of wolfberries are reputed in the fields of medicine, diet, beauty, and health, while the Chinese Wolfberry is the only one of its species to have been recorded in traditional Chinese herbology.

Perilla

Perilla contains higher levels of α-linolenic acid (ALA) than any other plant—and even higher levels than fish oil. ALA (also known as ω-3 unsaturated fatty acid) cannot be produced by the human body and can therefore only be acquired through diet and supplements. ALA can be synthesized to EPA, DPA, and DHA within the body, with EPA and DHA being readily available from fish oil. Similarly, ALA from perilla seeds can be efficiently synthesized to a number of EPA and DHA required by the human body. A number of biotins (including flavonoids, diditoflavone, COA, beta-caryophyllene, vitamins B1, B2, A, C, and E, calcium, phosphorous, and iron) are also found in perilla seeds.

Sea Buckthorn

Sea buckthorn is well known for its balanced nutrients and is believed to contain more types and higher levels of vitamins than any other fruit or plant. These include abundant levels of vitamins C, A, E, B1, B2, B12, K, P, and F, as well as folic acid. Sea buckthorn also contains 200 active substances that are essential to the human body, including 17 vitamins, 18 amino acids (includes 8 essential amino acids), 24 minerals (includes 14 essential minerals), more than 86% saturated fat, flavonoids, phytosterol, phospholipid, polysaccharide, alkaloid, phenols, SOD, triterpenoids, and organic acid.

Bitter Gourd

Bitter gourd is low in calories and rich in potassium, folic acid, protein, fat, calcium, phosphorous, iron, carotene, vitamins B1, B2, and C, glutamic acid, alanine, proline, citrallin, and fruit pectin. Bitter gourd contains just 16Kcal/100gm, most of which comes in the form of carbohydrates. When compared against the nutritional value of apples, bitter gourd contains higher levels of potassium, Vitamin C (19mg/100gm), and folic acid (63 mg/100gm).
